Financial Independence

The other fall - out of this linkage was " Aarogyakosh" , a kitty formed by depositing money ( Rs 100 per SHG ) for the purpose of help to needy women. With every SHG contributing Rs 100 / - in this kitty, the beneficiaries get the financial help on time. The inability of utilizing the medical facility is thus eliminated. This funding is made as interest free loans.
In the year 2007, 7 women received Rs 40000/- (all put together) for medical treatment.This concept is liked by all and largely accepted, having a strong back up of our organization. A proper systematic process is followed, where all these financial transactions are done through the bank account opened separately. This Self Help Group helps each other in terms of minor financial need as well as micro credit for Entrepreneurships.
